ECCPS is the excellence cluster EXC147 funded by the German Research Foundation „DFG“. Within ECCPS clinical and basic researchers joined forces to understand cardio-pulmonary diseases and to find new treatments. ECCPS is a joint centre of the Justus-Liebig University Giessen, the Goethe-University Frankfurt and the Max-Planck-Institute for Heart and Lung Research in Bad Nauheim.
